An Exciting Experience
Experience an unforgettable adventure by joining us for a 12-day stay in Costa Rica. Students will live with typical Costa Rican families, allowing them to participate and be immersed in the language and culture. They’ll enjoy a variety of fun and exciting activities in 3 different parts of the county and attend Spanish classes, giving them a boost in their language skills.
What to expect on this amazing tour
Students stay in twos or threes with carefully selected host families for their stay, thus immersing themselves in the culture in a way not possible if they stay only in hotels.
Lessons Come to Life
Programs in language and history are specifically tailored to our students’ needs and levels. All students will receive a certificate from an internationally accredited school.
We Take Care of Everything
From airline tickets, consent forms, and payment forms — to host families and hotels, entrance fees, all meals, all transportation, and all the tips. We take care of everything so teachers, parents and tour organizers don’t have to.
Great Benefits for Teachers
CSLI offers the best reward points program for teachers available in the industry. We also make it possible for teachers to relax and enjoy their evenings with peace of mind knowing their students are taken care of.
Costa Rica is one of the planet’s most naturally remarkable regions. It’s full of imposing volcanoes, misty cloud forests, exotic wildlife, deep river valleys and spectacular beaches. Because of its incredibly rich and varied biodiversity, it has become one of the world’s most popular destinations for eco-tourists. Both tropical plant and animal species abound in Costa Rica. It possesses the greatest concentration of flora and fauna in the world, containing as much as 6% of the planet’s plant and animal species, and about a quarter of its national territory is protected by a system of conservation areas and national parks.
A Beautiful Setting
Highlights of what you’ll experience on your 12-day trip to Costa Rica
MonteverdeMonteverde is a major ecotourism destination in Costa Rica. Set atop the mountains in the northwestern part of the country, it’s a world above the coastal towns that dot the country's famous shoreline. The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve shelters countless wildlife species, including jaguars, ocelots, monkeys, sloths and the colorfully plumed quetzal. National Geographic calls it "the jewel in the crown of cloud forest reserves".
TamarindoOnce a quiet fishing town, Tamarindo has become the area’s most popular tourist destination. Located on the central west coast of the Nicoya Peninsula in the Province of Guanacaste, Tamarindo offers visitors a chance to experience the region’s spectacular unspoilt beaches and incredible biodiversity. It forms part of Parque Nacional Marino Las Baulas and the Tamarindo National Wildlife Refuge.
Arenal VolcanoThe Arenal Volcano is an active andesitic stratovolcano located about 90km northwest of San Jose in Costa Rica’s fertile northern lowlands. It’s tall and imposing, and has an unavoidable presence while traveling within this part of the country. Arenal’s perfectly symmetrical shape makes it a sightseer’s dream, while its abundance of outdoor activities makes it an easy place to check things off your “must-do in Costa Rica” list.
